Ah I wish I could sign an iPhone, I totally should have in the summer hols.. but I was stingy and didn't feel like paying up the money. XD so now i'm stuck with my current phone for another year!

But you know what, everyone here has an iPhone and i'm starting to see comments like this.

Lol yeahyeah ... hahahah~

Because the phone thing works like this here.. we sign a 'contract' with a phone dealer for a set number of months (usually 24) and pay up anything from $19 - $69 dollars per month, and we get different benefits depending on the deal, and we get the handset for free.

For example.. my current phone is $19 / month (and I got the phone for free..) and on top of that $19 , I get like free internet and $350 credit for calls/texts per month. Not bad imo!

However for an Iphone it's $45 - $49 a month (general deal most people go for) and you get like.. hmm lets see.

lol $550 credit every month, as if I will ever use all that up. I shall call up NZ everyday if I ever get that plan ne. ;3 

How I lost my chance for it in summer hols, My mum found out what it was and she sees it like, a NDS or a PSP. LOL. she only sees the games.. Thanks Will. [= =]

And she was like wtf no , you will not get one of those! Just get one that can text and call = =!

So therefore since they were giving out free iTouches with a macbook purchase, and my awesome friend Gueh.. I mean Gwen, decided to sell her Itouch to me ^__^ *yay eternally thankful*  ... I just bought it so i could use all the apps anyway!!!

Don't get me wrong, iTouches are useful as! Only problem is I have more space taken up by apps than songs.. hahaha... but I like the twitter app, and the Japanese dictionaries, and the internet connection I have that comes with it when there is accessible Wi-fi. Not to mention games, though the addictive ones are so dangerous.. I end up deleting them. Seriously I only have 3 games on my iTouch right now. I don't delete them 'coz my little bro likes them!!

I wish I had on-the-go internet though like an iPhone, so I could tweet stuff on the spot. That'd be really awesome. : )

I still reckon iTouches and iPhones > other smartphones like HTCs and stuff.
Ah well this is the small passing stream of complaints of a kid living in a first world country I guess. Never mind me! :D I think it's alright to have awesome stuff sometimes though, as long as you work for it and don't take everything for granted.

A phone is just a phone, people aren't happiest having everything they want, but rather appreciating everything they have right?! : )

What I really really really want though.. is to go on exchange.. hmm. I'm short of money for it for starters, even with two works!! DX
