Ahh I was gonna update my blog and I saw Jeannie's found her way here somehow O_o Surprised! But Heyo shoutout and big love to her from Melb! ^ ^
Zzzz So what's goin' on with me lately, nothing much. Same old, same old. : 3
I'm getting unbelievably sick of Melb City though, because I'm there every freakin' day, and even though you know the way everywhere it's so troublesome to walk to places because it can take so so so long. =_= Especially when I cbs catching the tram down swanston street.. yeah it's my own fault but still, 囧! Give me more work shifts so I can actually go shopping and Kbox and Pool and Hachibe and this and that.. Loljk I need to get out of here and go on exchange.
Still plotting my exchange somehow! But damn my wallet was so drained from a single Friday in which after I ended uni at 1pm went out for lunch, then 6 hours later went for dinner, then drinks, Orz. Dinner was goood though. At least I got shouted to a movie.. and spent no money at Crown Casino, hmmm I went in there out of curiosity just 'coz I had ID on me and I could finally prove I was 18... ahahahaha) . Never should I spend a friday afternoon such a way again.., I'm so cramming assignments all weekend. = = ('Should' being the operative word here...lol)
Last night ne, the Japanese Cultural club went to Queensbury Hotel for drinks, Nomikai!! (about 120 people turned up lmao, it was fuller than a full house) so all in all it was a successful event organised.. even though we only managed to book the side room which could house a little less people than the upstairs ,that's probably why it was soo damn full. Ah well.
No I did not get drunk, fool :D I need to get home.... and also getting drunk in such a place is just plain fc....king dumb.. luckily I didn't join in with the cowboy shots zzzz.
I went to take photos of everyone instead, Yudai's DSLR ended up in my hands for the entire night..
THOUGH THE PICS ARE STILL WITH HIM AND HE HASN'T UPLOADED ANYTHING YET.. FROM LIKE.. THE BEGINNING OF TIME. Aww.
I swear I bothered to speak more Japanese than ever , Ain you know what I mean, haiiz. Really greatful to Kota for being pretty much the first person I have spoken for a long convo in Jap with voluntarily.. >w<
Had a good time chilling with him , especially when we went outside since inside just got way too stuffy. I have never welcomed the cool wind on a winter melbourne night more.. haha.
The other funny thing , Dongwoo D< Never lets me take pics of himself, excuses excuses.. phobia of cameras pfft. It's hilarious when people get paranoid that you actually did manage to snap a picture of them though.
Left early..ish because I don't have the luxury of actually living in the city. Daichi (He's a bad boy but he's nice ;D ) stuffed a cigarette in my mouth.. (UNlit, or I would have killed him.. LOL just 'coz i'm 18 they think i'm young and love corrupting me T_T ) it was such a bad image and the friends who left with me were sorely regretting they didn't have a camera. I made a joke of it for the moment by puffing fog out of my mouth, but later I ripped the thing to pieces and threw it in the bin. Serves it right! RAWR.
The other thing I wanted to mention in this aimless blog post is about Casino dealers.
Yes we all know they're awesome , but the people you see there, seriously you'd never guess they were casino dealers!
I swear there were loads of pale skinny asian boys with glasses and short flat hair that you'd think they were at RMIT doing IT / design or an actuarial degree or something ... and the chick dealers there look like my chinese teacher. =_=||| (Hahah.. however it's a tough job I'd say, and you'd get shouted at much more than at a resturant or another hospitality kind of job because seriously if someone loses their life savings in a game, they're gonna be pissed and it will be at the dealer for sure amongst other people. Though we were sayin' those dealers must get paid alot! )
Crown Casino is freakin' huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge. I'd get hopelessly lost if it wasn't for Abel, Ange and Victor being there to follow around hahahaha. But you know what, it's such a depressing place. It was only around 4pm when we walked around crown and already there were middle aged women sitting alone in front of a machine mindlessly pressing buttons and men raging around a blackjack table. -__-
So after we decided we can't afford to gamble today in case someone laid down a $1000AUD bet or something we gtfo'd out of that depressing place.
I'm not judging people who gamble, I mean it's totally okay to do it once in a while perhaps with your friends when you've spared out like $50 dollars you're prepared to totally lose, but no shit, gambling addiction is just.. well plain bad.
Ah what else.. Oh yeah I can't stand spoilt kids (yeah they're kids coz they're so damn immature) who are even older than me and decidedly think their parents are made of money , do not even think of doing any housework, or earning their own money, all they care about is 'socialising' and they want to transfer to melb uni, why, because all the asians are here, apparently. WTF get down to earth, noobs, and grow the heck up. Yes Melb uni is awesome but if you want something want it for the right reasons.. = = They're so stuck in their little world of wanting to live out some drama they don't even understand things a 5 year old would understand about life, seriously. 坐井观天,tch.
Butthurt at the Kpop fest in Sydney, actually I don't really care that about much of the groups there but TVXQ will be there , daym wish Big Bang was too. I mean SHINee will be there, and I could desperately try to go just to annoy the unfortunate diehard SHINee fans (and other kpop fans for that matter) who couldn't go for lulz, by showing off that I went to the concert, but that's just.. pretty lame and I think I have more of a life than that.. hahaha. (Not dissing SHINee here, I think i'd enjoy the entire concert if I got to go, but even if I spared out the money for it, I might have exams. Ah well. we'll see.)
Hmm yeah that's about all I can think of writing about atm... hahaha. Oh wait, I dl'd the Jane Eyre 2011 movie, though I think the ending is too abrubt to do the book justice, it was a pretty good movie! Rochester isn't supposed to be good looking but Michael Fassbender is really, not bad at all.
Anyway that's pretty much it for now, everyone add oils for whatever challenges may be awaiting them ahead and be sure to try some green tea latte.. that stuff is nice.. though it's not the one sold at melb uni but i'm pretty sure other's will taste awesome too.
夢は逃げない、逃げるのはいつも自分だ~
Peaceee peoples.
HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!! YES I AM STALKING YOU NOW
ReplyDeleteOmg you're allowed into a casino at 18?? Wow lucky, yeah if it was me I'd be so curious >< rofl at the casino dealers description. Hmm I thought they were always guys in waistcoats and slutty blonds with boobs hanging out of a sparkly dress.. movies are misleading D:
ReplyDeleteI think it's easy to get sick of any place after a while, after the novelty's worn off. I was so sick of welly but now I miss it rofl >< why don't you just exchange to Japan? :o
Yeaaaaah <3 *w* my fave stalker!!
ReplyDeleteI thought the age here was the same as in nz??! I just took advantage of the fact I had formal ID (my passport) on me at the time and I went in, Orz! I don't even have my L's (Drivers license) yet, I should really go and get it omg T_T I fail! I have to bring a PASSPORT everytime as proof of age!!!
I should take pics next time, I saw one of those guys there and I was like OMG How can he be a dealer, he looks like a 宅男 that never leaves his computer!! O[]O
And you know the machines there, the coins don't just drop out of it like! You have to redeem what little money you may have won by taking a printed reciept/ticket thing to a desk! ><
I said to a friend, 'b-but I watched oceans eleven!!' and he was like "...pffffhuahaha that's a movie!!' T____T
Wellington will always be missed by me! :(
I need to fufil some mandatory requirements first (like 75 credit points , which takes at least 2 semesters to complete) , and hopefully I will qualify for some sort of scholarship to help me in terms of funds next year! It's not a 'woah what a genius $$$$$' kind of scholarship, but like if I get the grades for a certain area of study I may be able to get a few thousand to help my exchange, which is important I guess! The more the merrier *w*
But yeah, I need to work for it. I'd feel bad if I had my parents really, pay off for just about all of it.
Also the paperwork is troublesome huh! : ) But will keep you updated on how it goes. ^^
